TCorp is invested in the future of NSW and recognises it has a role to play in Australia's contribution to the meeting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We have established the NSW Sustainability Bond Programme which allows us to issue green, social and/or sustainability bonds, providing a mechanism for investors to contribute capital to accomplish environmental and social goals.

The NSW Sustainability Bond Programme will support a broad range of NSW Government environmental and social policies, strategies and goals.

  • Assurance: EY has provided an Independent Reasonable Assurance Report for the post-issuance process of TCorp's inaugural Sustainability Bond, the 2020 NSW Sustainability Bond Framework and the 2020 annual report,  confirming compliance with the Climate Bonds Standard and alignment with the 2018 ICMA Green Bond Principles, Social Bond Principles and Sustainable Bond Guidelines.
  • Second-Party Opinion: Sustainalytics has issued an updated opinion on the credibility of the NSW Sustainability Bond Framework, October 2020.
  • Certification: The November 2030 Green Bond, November 2028 Green Bond and Green Term Deposits received Climate Bond Standards Certification.
